On arrival

A sled (manual power) is available to transport your luggage from car to lodge. Please return the sled to the lodge, it is for Burrumbeep residents, please do not lend it to others.

Room allocation, your host will have received an email showing you what beds have been allocated together with the Lodge Leaderís name and contact details. Those staying upstairs will be expected to certain chores as listed on the notice board near the telephone, to help maintain a smooth running lodge. Those staying in the flats are expected to clean the flat. There are various notices around the lodge to also assist everyone enjoys their stay at the Lodge.


The Lodge provides good class accommodation with double bed or bunk space for 30 in 6 separate rooms and 2 flats. We have shared but private bathrooms. The kitchen is well equipped with a number of stoves, microwaves, diswashers,large fridges, bread maker. Room heating, supplementing a wood fire for atmosphere.

What to bring

You will need sheets, pillow slips, or sleeping bags. There are doonas on all beds and some spare blankets. Electric blankets you will need to bring your own.
Towels and toiletries, we provide lavatory paper and soap.
Food, we provide tea, coffee, tomato sauce, salt sugar, glasses, plates, cutlery and cooking utensils, you provide the rest.
We also provide dishwashing liquid and tea towels.
We are near the General store.

On departure

On the day you leave please clean/vacuum your room or flat (and other allocated chores) and vacate the room or flat by 2pm to allow incoming people to move in.
